Devil's finger is a mountain with a rocky outcropping that resembles a finger sticking out of the ground. The similarity is further enhanced by the "claw" towering over the top of the rock. Thanks to this similarity, the mountain got its name. The sharp "claw" gave her a middle name - Devil's Claw.

Katu-Yaryk is a steep descent into the valley of the Chulyshman River, 3.8 kilometers long, including 9 turns, laid along the mountainside. It is the only road connecting the Chulyshman Valley with the outside world, and the only way to get to the southern coast of Lake Teletskoye by car. The slope of the pass is ~ 70% (63 °), the average slope of the roadway is 18% (10 °).
Kurkure waterfall, Chuysky tract
The Kurkure waterfall is located in the valley of the Chulyshman river, namely, at the mouth of the Kurkure river of the same name. The height of the waterfall is about 30 meters. Translated from the Altai language "kurkure" means "frantic". This word characterizes the flow of the river and waterfall. Local residents consider this place sacred, they do not conduct any work activities and do not even graze livestock for several kilometers around the waterfall.
Patmos is a small island with steep rocky slopes on the Katun River. Located on the outskirts of Chemal, Altai Republic. It is connected to the mainland by a suspended pedestrian bridge.
It is named after the small Greek island of Patmos, where the holy Apostle John the Theologian once lived and prayed. The island was consecrated in 1855, and in 1915 the old St. John the Theological Church from the village of Chemal was transferred to it. In the 1920s, the temple was destroyed, and in 2000 it was rebuilt as the temple of the Apostle John the Theologian.
